Meet Your Mentor, Linda Dube

Linda Dube is the founder of Care Business School and Director of TLS Social Care Ltd, a Care Quality Commission-registered care organisation based in Leeds, Yorkshire. With over 20 years of experience across frontline care, social work, safeguarding, leadership, and regulatory practice, Linda has built her career around improving standards within the health and social care sector. Her professional background includes roles as a Social Worker, Social Work Team Manager, and Best Interests Assessor, working within complex environments where legal frameworks, safeguarding, governance, and person-centred care are critical. Linda has extensive experience in compliance and regulatory practice, including reviewing care provision, governance systems, policies, documentation, and operational practices against CQC regulations and the Health and Social Care Act 2008. Her work has included identifying governance gaps, safeguarding concerns, and supporting organisations to improve quality, compliance, and service delivery. As the founder of TLS Social Care Ltd, Linda successfully built and scaled a regulated care service from the ground up, achieving six-figure revenue within its first year of trading without external investment. Her leadership is centred around ethical practice, human rights, quality care, and empowering providers to build sustainable and compliant organisations. Linda is also a qualified trainer in Safeguarding Adults, the Mental Capacity Act, and Positive Behaviour Support, delivering practical and legally grounded training designed to bridge the gap between theory and real-world care practice. Through Care Business School, Linda now supports aspiring and established care providers across the UK to build safe, compliant, and impactful care services with confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. I haven’t registered with CQC yet, is this course still right for me? Yes. The Carepreneurship Blueprint was designed for aspiring care business owners as well as existing providers. The course walks you through the CQC registration process, the Single Assessment Framework, compliance expectations, governance systems, and the operational foundations needed to build your service correctly from the beginning. 2. I’m already registered and trading, will this still be useful? Absolutely. Many existing providers gain the most value from the auditing, risk management, governance, and leadership sections — especially when preparing for inspection, strengthening compliance systems, or working toward Outstanding. 3. What’s the difference between this course and a Level 5 in Adult Care Leadership? A Level 5 qualification focuses on developing leadership and management competency within an existing care setting. It is an accredited vocational qualification designed primarily for managers and leaders already working in care. The Carepreneurship Blueprint is different. It focuses on how to build, structure, operate, govern, and grow a CQC-regulated care business in the real world. This programme teaches: CQC registration and startup strategy Compliance systems and governance Policies, audits, and risk management Inspection readiness Business operations and leadership Sustainable growth and operational excellence Many learners use the Carepreneurship Blueprint alongside their Level 5 qualification because it bridges the gap between managing care and successfully running a compliant care business. 4. How is the course delivered, and how long do I have access? The course is delivered through professionally structured online modules with video lessons, downloadable resources, practical guidance, and implementation frameworks. Learners receive lifetime access, allowing you to revisit the material as your business grows and evolves. 5. Do I get templates and documents I can use in my own service? Yes. The programme includes practical resources, frameworks, checklists, governance tools, auditing systems, and implementation guidance designed to support you in building and strengthening your service. 6. Does the course cover domiciliary care, supported living, and outreach? Yes. The CARE Framework — Compliance, Auditing, Risk Management, and Excellence in Care — applies across domiciliary care, supported living, and outreach services, with practical examples throughout the programme. 7. Is the course aligned with the current Single Assessment Framework? Yes. The curriculum is aligned with the current CQC Single Assessment Framework and the 34 Quality Statements across the five domains: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-Led. 8. Can I ask questions if I get stuck? Yes. Learners will have access to ongoing support, guidance, and opportunities to ask questions throughout their learning journey. Questions can be sent to [email protected] and we aim to respond within 48hours. 9. Is the course CPD-accredited? The course is designed around real-world CQC compliance, governance, and operational excellence. While accreditation updates are being explored, the programme already aligns closely with professional development standards and the current CQC regulatory framework.
